Substance Abuse Treatment for Heroin Addicted Men and Women

University of Washington - Behavioral Research and Therapy Clinics (BRTC)

Puget Sound men and women with an opiate addiction and women with suicidal behavior are needed as volunteers for two studies at the University of Washington designed to refine a therapeutic treatment for borderline personality disorder.

BRTC is Looking for People who match the characteristics below:

  • Men or women between the ages of 18 and 60
  • No mandate or court order for treatment
  • Willing to go on opium replacement medication
  • Cannot be pregnant
  • Live within commuting distance of the University of Washington Seattle campus
  • Willing to discontinue current treatment including psychotropic medication if accepted into treatment program
